Keynote speaker Ouided Bouchamaoui was The Tunisian Confederation of Industry, Trade and Handicrafts president until 2018. In 2020, she began working at HEIP in Paris as the Director of master 2 “Prevention, Arbitration & Resolution of conflicts.”
Aside from working at HEIP, Ouided is a Nobel Peace Prize Laureate. She is also an Oslo Business for Peace Award Committee member. In 2014, she received the Oslo Business for Peace Award.
Ouided works to promote Tunisia’s national reconciliation, safeguard enterprises and employment policy, and facilitate the restoring of security. In 2014, the Business for Peace made her an honouree for her efforts in this area. Furthermore, UTICA is one of the four organizations that comprise the Tunisian National Dialogue Quartet. This group of four civil society organizations obtained the Nobel Peace Prize in 2015.
