Technology speaker Mishaal Ashemimry is a famous Entrepreneur, Aerospace Engineer, influencer, and speaker. Her passion for space sparked while admiring the stars in the Unayzah desert at the age of six. She developed such a strong interest in space that she decided to learn how to build space rockets that would take her there.
Mishaal is an inspiration to many women who want to become aerospace engineers since she was the first woman to do so in the GCC. She spreads her knowledge and inspirational messages to young people through social media. Her popularity on these platforms has enabled her to become a speaker at several global events and in the GCC. Speaker Mishaal Ashemimry has even worked with Pepsico, Macy’s, and Dubai TV in campaigns that aim to empower young people.
At present, Ashemimry teaches mechanical and aerospace engineering at the University of Miami. In addition, she spends her days inspiring others via webinars, conferences, and social media. At the age of 26, she created MISHAAL Aerospace to make her biggest dream come true: building rockets. The goal of the company was to develop rockets for the purpose of launching small satellites to Low Earth Orbit.
Mishaal also worked for Raytheon Missile Systems’ Aerodynamics Department. She is an expert in wind tunnel testing, aerodynamics, predictive simulation, and vehicle design analysis. In addition, her knowledge includes rocket stage-separation analysis, especially computational tool development.
She holds an MS in Aerospace Engineering and two BAs in Applied Mathematics and Aerospace Engineering.
In this talk, speaker Mishaal Ashemimry will share with the audience her experiences as the first female aerospace engineer from the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries while motivating them to pursue their dreams and goals. Ashemimry has extensive experience in the sector, having worked for companies like Raytheon Missile Systems and being the founder of MISHAAL Aerospace. This lecture will allow attendees to understand everything they can achieve as aerospace engineers with effort and dedication.
In this conference, professor and speaker Mishaal Ashemimry will showcase to the attendees the latest disruptive technologies that are shaping the future of aerospace engineering. As a professor in the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at the University of Miami and her experience contributing to twenty-two different rocket programs for Raytheon Missile Systems, Ashemimry is at the forefront of technology and this allows her to have a comprehensive view of what will be the major disruptive technologies that will define the sector in the coming years.
