The book built upon years of research and thought leadership, and cemented Raworth’s role as a champion of development economics. It has been translated into more than 20 languages.
In 2019, Raworth co-founded the Doughnut Economics Action Lab with the goal of redefining business altogether. The Action Lab helps turn Raworth’s theories into transformative action, largely through the promotion of social entrepreneurship.
