A 100-foot fall left him with a spinal cord injury, paralyzing him from the chest down. Despite the trauma and a grueling rehabilitation process, Darren refused to let adversity define him.
Within days of leaving the hospital, he found purpose through outdoor adventures, beginning with kayaking. This determination led him to kayak the length of Britain and become the first wheelchair user to conquer the 777 Challenge—seven marathons on seven continents in seven days.
